NIGERIAN MARITIME ADMINISTRATION AND SAFETY AGENCY
NIMASA is the apex maritime administrative agency in Nigeria. One of the statutory functions and mandates of NIMASA is Pollution Control and Management on Nigerian coastal waters. This responsibility is handled by the Marine Environment Management (MEM) department of NIMASA.
NIMA Reality TV Show partners this MEM department of NIMASA to execute its primary pet project, tagged, Cleaner Ocean Campaign (COC) which has to do with regular cleaning of seas, oceans, jetties, beaches and other marine environment while also creating awareness to riverine communities on the dangers of marine pollution and marine litter.

NIGERIAN INSTITUTE FOR OCEANOGRAPHY AND MARINE RESEARCH
NIOMR is a multidisciplinary marine research institute and Nigeria's prime institute for Marine Sciences. With its headquarters situated at the Bar Beach in Victoria Island in Lagos, contiguous to the Atlantic Ocean, NIOMR is well positioned to discharge its statutory mandate of ensuring Rational Exploitation of Marine Resources and Conservation for Sustainable development and Healthy Marine Environment.
In view of this, NIMA Reality TV Show partners NIOMR especially in the aspect of providing Research works, resource materials and speakers on the Effect of pollution on the health of Nigerian coastal waters and its prevention.
NATIONAL INLAND WATERWAYS AUTHORITY
The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), hitherto Inland Waterways Department (IWD) of the Federal Ministry of Transport is an agency of the Federal Government established with the primary responsibility to improve and develop Nigeria’s inland waterways for navigation.
Amongst other statutory functions and duties, NIWA has a mandate to build river ports and jetties as well as to control pollution in Nigeria inland waters. Hence, NIMA Reality TV Show partners NIWA on Pollution Control at inland waterways through awareness creation to boat/ferry users, riverine communities and inland town dwellers.
In view of this, NIMA Reality TV Show partners NIOMR especially in the aspect of providing Research works, resource materials and speakers on the Effect of pollution on the health of Nigerian coastal waters and its prevention.
AFRICAN MARINE ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVE
AFMESI is a pan-African, non-governmental organization that has been boosting focus, knowledge and partnerships for cleaner, better protected and sustainably-used marine ecosystems across the African continent.
AFMESI seeks to proffer solutions to marine environmental issues in Nigeria and Africa at large by providing a platform for information exchange among experts on the subject globally and harnessing and directing such knowledge to protecting, restoring and improving the quality of the oceans in the continent. This is in synch with NIMA pet project; hence the partnership with AFMESI.
